A Tasty Cake Good For Crunching !

Kids love this cake and when it's Saturday they always ask me to bake them this cake. Actually these small cookies are called by us "pogacsa"(pogacha).
You will need a little time until you make the dough but the result will be a tasty cake. Also big muscles are welcome while you roll out the dough! This small cakes are good for crunching while you watch TV.

Let's bake a cake!

Ingredients:
50 g yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
200 ml milk
900 g flour
2 eggs
250 g margarine
3 - 4 spoons cream
1,5 spoons salt

Step 1: Sprinkle the yeast and the sugar onto 200 ml. lukewarm milk and stir to dissolve;
Step 2 : Mix the flour, the egg, the cream, the salt and 100 g margarine until you get a soft dough;
Step 3 : Use a rolling pin to roll the dough until you get a flat surface;

And Fold the Dough

Step 4

Split the remaining margarine into three parts. Take the first cube and spread the margarine over the surface of dough;

Suggestion: If you roll a dough with smaller surface, the margarine can be spread all over easily.

Step 7: Roll the dough, spread the third margarine cube and fold the dough;

    Ooooh but this tiny cake recipe of yours looks so good. I am going to have to give it a try. I also prefer to bake our own sweet desserts cakes and cookies. My husband had high cholesterol when I met him so I use transfat free fats and a lot of oatmeal in my baking to keep him healthy. We also have our own apple tree so we have a lot of apple crisps throughout the year.

    Beautifully illustrated lens. These cute little cakes don't look like they'll be very sweet though.
