CrypticFragments Jewelry- Handmade Originals

Welcome to the showcase for CrypticFragments' Jewelry and Ethnic Design.

CrypticFragments is the pseudonym for artist and author Tammy Winand (that's me!). I love creating jewelry from wood, gemstone, glass and silver beads, found objects, and charms.

Many of my creations pieces have an ethnic or tribal flair influenced by my passion for the ethnic jewelry of the Middle East, Central Asia, North Africa and the southwestern USA.

I also design mixed media cards, canvases and boxes. All of these items are available for purchase...simply send me an email via the contact link!

Beads and Baubles= Unique Pieces of Wearable Art!

I am obsessed with beads!
I love their shapes and colors.
I love the endless combinations of stringing them together.
I love their fascinating history as money counters and fashion ornaments.
I love wearing and buying them.

I started designing jewelry in earnest in 2006, when I lived in Albuquerque,NM. I sold my Native inspired creations on the lawn of the place where I lived and at a local farmers market.

These days, my work has expanded to include new collections, including the Funky Chunky Line, Southwestern Line, and Elegance Line.

Most of my pieces are done in glass, wood, semi-precious gemstones, copper and sterling silver.

Congratulations! You have made beautiful necklaces. I liked the combinations of the colors and your skills on making ethnic jewelry are impressive.
I agree with you completely. Beads are very pretty in handcrafted jewelry. Creativity gets a new horizon when one starts working with beads. I love tribal jewelry because it is our source for earthy and natural. I loved the tibetan fantasy necklace. How long do you take to make this necklace?
