Crystal has had to battle her own demons, since she was first scouted into the world of glamor at the age of fourteen, to become comfortable with her body and who and what she wanted to accomplish in life. She's on an unexpected path to being a role model for women of all sizes.

Crystal started her modeling career in high fashion at the age of 14 after being told to lose almost a third of her total body weight. This weight loss eventually triggered a health crisis, causing her to reassess her diet and exercise habits. After gaining 70 pounds and re-emerging as a much-healthier U.S. size 12, Crystal was reclassified by her agents as a plus-size model, and now enjoys a highly successful career.
