CSI: NY is an American police procedural television series, which premiered on September 22, 2004. The series was the second spin-off, indirectly, from the popular CBS show, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and directly from CSI: Miami, during an episode of which several of the CSI:NY characters made their first appearance. What sets CSI:NY apart from the others in the franchise is the focus on character development, which creators believed could be done without undermining the core, procedural aspects of the show. The following is a list episodes from the CBS television series, CSI: NY. The fourth season of CSI: NY began airing in September 2007, and will end during spring 2008 with a total of 21 episodes produced.
- S04E01 Can You Hear Me Now?
- Mac and the team find human blood on the crown of the Statue of Liberty, leading them on a race against time to save a famous musician from death at the hands of a vigilante.
- S04E02 The Deep
- A sailboat race to Staten Island takes an unexpected tack when one of the boats nearly collides with a dead scuba diving instructor. Autopsy reveals this was no accident and trace evidence leads the CSIs underwater to an artificial reef made of discarded subway cars stacked up at the bottom of the Hudson where they find the dead diving partner of the first victim.
- S04E03 You Only Die Once
- The CSIs investigate a James Bond-esque gang of thieves who use high tech methods to steal personal account info from computers and phones before fleeing the scene in a customized Batmobile-type car. When one of the thieves turns up dead, Mac and the team have to determine if one of the gang's victims sought retribution or if it was a double cross by one of the thieves.
- S04E04 Time's Up
- A dying man confesses to a murder 24 hours before it happens and Mac investigates the possibility of time travel. Stella investigates a case of a woman dying due to complications from a test drug that was switched with her asthma inhaler medication. Meanwhile, Mac encourages Stella to give the guy from the antique store a shot and he gets a letter from Peyton breaking up with him.
- S04E05 Down The Rabbit Hole
- A murder victim bears a striking resemblance to a well-known avatar in the online role-playing game "Second Life." Mac is forced to enter the game himself to solve the mystery surrounding her death.
- S04E06 Boo
- Lindsay investigates a mass murder at the infamous Amityville Horror house. Before she can close the case, she is warned by someone to leave the house, or she will be in great danger. Meanwhile, Stella and Mac investigate the death of a man in the middle of the street. Autopsy reveals the victim may have died before, and evidence leads the CSI to a voodoo shop.
- S04E07 Commuted Sentences
- Danny and Lindsay investigate the death of a woman shot dead on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art while Mac and Stella investigate the death of a man stabbed to death in Madison Square Park. As investigation goes on, the CSI finds out both cases are connected.
- S04E08 Buzzkill
- When a supermodel is found dead in a giant martini glass on a Times Square billboard, the CSI team follows the evidence in search of the party crasher. When they learn she was killed by a poisonous jellyfish, they follow the trail and learn that the supermodel was not the target. Meanwhile, Stella has a date with the man from the antique store.
- S04E09 One Wedding and a Funeral
- Mac investigates a groom murdered on his wedding day, found stuffed and wrapped like a wedding present, and Stella finds a box of bloody puzzle pieces left on her car, which sends Mac home to Chicago to solve the biggest mystery of his life.
- S04E10 The Things About Heroes
- Mac goes home to Chicago, trying to solve the mystery 333 stalker. As he goes home, he find out the stalker may have come from his past. Meanwhile, one of the CSI life is in danger.
- S04E11 Child's Play
- The CSIs go on the hunt for a bodega robber when events take an emotional turn after they discover the victim of a stray bullet shot during the robbery is a young boy. Danny finds out the young boy is his neighbor's son, which cause Danny emotionally involve with the case.
- S04E12 Happily Never After
- Mac and the team feel they're headed back to Kansas when they find the victim's body with red shoes on her feet crushed to death under an unusual object. The team learns about pop up parties after finding a body.
- S04E13 All in the Family
- CSI investigates the murder of a family court judge who has lots of enemies. Meanwhile, Danny's neighbor Ricki steals his gun to go after Ollie, the bodega robber who caused her son's death.
- S04E14 Playing With Matches
- A badly-burned corpse turns out to belong to an underground street luge racer, and the DNA of a man already in prison is found on a dead body discovered in a new high-tech public toilet.
- S04E15 DOA For A Day
- The CSIs are lead to a abandoned warehouse where they believe they have found the New York's most wanted killer-suspect X. The team found the body of Suspect X, but evidence suggests the body is an innocent woman who is use by suspect X to fake her own death.
- S04E16 Right Next Door
- Stella's apartment is on fire and she tries to rescue every people in the building. After the fire is extingushed, the team found a dead body inside Stella's apartment.
- S04E17 Like Water For Murder
- The CSI team inspects a twisted trail of evidence when a salesman washes up on Rockaway Beach along with several dead sharks.
- S04E18 Admission
- The team must find how a beloved guidance counselor died and continue finding the taxicab killer before he kills again.
- S04E19 Personal Foul
- As the search for the taxi cab killer continues riding a cab gets very deadly the team must figure out how to keep New York City safe.
- S04E20 Taxi
- Mac and his team finally believe they have captured the taxi cab killer but there is one problem - he is found dead. Mac must figure out how to keep the streets of New York City safe while continuing to track the elusive taxicab killer.
- S04E21 Hostage
- Mac is asked to do something he's never done before while being taken hostage he must try to prove a gunman's innocence.
