Cocker Spaniel Rescue

Ranked #19,467 in Pets & Animals, #569,257 overall

What is "Rescue"?

The term "rescue" seems to be bantered about alot lately not only by animal welfare people but also the general public who "rescued" their cat  or dog from a shelter or from a local rescue organization.

Rescue is defined as: to free or deliver from confinement, violence, danger, or evil.

Adopting an animal from a shelter or another orgainzation does not mean that the animal was rescued by you. You ADOPTED the animal.

Rescue means that the animal welfare volunteer either pulled the animal from the shelter or out of an abusive dangerous situation which may have been it's home.

Rescue volunteers generally see the animal in very bad condition and spends time and money getting it ready to become someone's pet. This can take weeks, months and sometimes years to accomplish.

So, when you come to pay the $150 to $300 adoption fee please be aware that alot of time, money, effort and love has gone into getting this ball of fur to you in the healthiest of conditions.

You adopt...we rescue.
