What is CSS? What is a CSS Gallery???
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a simple mechanism for adding style (e.g. fonts, colors, spacing) to Web documents.
More than likely the sites you are visiting are built using a least some CSS.
For years there has been a push to make web sites standards compliant, and to use CSS for styling and keep HTML for structure. To get rid of bloated tables and adopt browser friendly CSS.
In that push came the advent of CSS Gallery sites. These websites collected the best of the best of CSS based sites and displayed them for the world to see to show that sites that usedCSS could be just as beautiful, appealing and complicated as those that used heavy tables!
These sites serve as inspiration for fledgling and old school designers and coders everywhere.
