Hello, I am thinking about selling my 1450 as is (can't get it to turn over) and I was wondering what is the going rate for this tractor if I sell it to be used as parts? Not sure where to see the answers to these replies, can you help me out.
    Thanks,
    Denis

I own a cub cadet 1450, repainted it and was running very good... . I bought another one that is a 125, which I've been using everyday. I cannot get my 1450 running even after putting on a new battery. I was told it might be something electrical.... Can anyone give me an idea as to why it won't start?

I have two IH Cub Cadet lawn tractors one is 70 series the other is a 100, both with the origianl Kohler motors. They both run great, the 100 needs a clutch/brake adjustment. I also have the snow blade for one of them. I am thinking about selling and want to know what they are worth? I have the chasis numbers and the motor model information if anyone could help me I would appreciate. I still use both of them, but need the money and would like to see them go to a collector or someone who will enjoy and take care of. Please email me at skiwarner@yahoo.com

try a set of the gator blades i have found them the cheapest @ balieysonline.com also try agrisupply.com there is 3 different ones the lowest price one is just a standard type blade but has the twisted top the second has a carbon steel edge so it will hold its edge longer then the 3rd is the fusion gator blade thats 25% thicker and wider ( more for comercial contractors ) or if you hit small limbs more then most ppl and rocks then they wont twist as easy .

In 2006 I bought a LT 1042 Cadet Mower -It mowed ok for two yrs-early the next Spring the motor blew up - spent several bucks trying to get it fixed -was told it would have to be a new motor. In 2009 I bought a new LTX 1045-- the second time I mowed with it, the main drive belt broke ($55.00) -- Started mowing this yr. --lot of racket under the deck- all of the bearings gone in both spindles ($180.00) -- So if you don't own a mower repair shop or a Bank-- you better leave em' Cub Cadets at the dearlers
