Cubworld
Jake Kongaika aka Cubworld grew-up in the South Pacific heavily influenced by local island traditions and the rich musical cultures of Tonga, Samoa, and Hawaii.
The melodic harmonies of the South Pacific were introduced to Jake at an early age by his father who sang the old Tongan songs to his children and inspired a lifelong passion for music and ignited Jake's innate, natural ability.
Cubworld is inspired by Jack Johnson, Coldplay, Bob Marley and Dave Matthews amongst others.
He was one of the first artists to raise $50,000 on crowd-sourcing website Sellaband. With the help of 686 'Believers' from all over the world he recorded "Step Lightly, Create Out Loud".
He has raised an additional $15,000 on Sellaband to record a new album "My Island | My Soul".
