I Love My Cuisinart Sandwich Grill

In New Zealand we call them "toasties." They are hot sandwiches made with a sandwich press. I have the Cuisinart GR-1 Griddler Panini and Sandwich Press and I love it. Read on, and you will see why.

Personally, I think any sandwich can be made better by heating it. It is so simple with a sandwich press. Just let it pre-heat a bit, lift the lid, insert the sandwich, close the lid and when the light goes out get ready for a delicious treat. And, the non-stick surface makes clean up so simple.

We go way beyond traditional sandwiches like tuna melt and grilled cheese. I love to experiment with new ingredient combinations. I have even grilled peanut butter and jelly. Like most people, I do have my favorite hot sandwich recipes, lots of them in fact. They are all here. Simple, quick, delicious ingredient combinations to use with my Cuisinart sandwich grill any time of year.

Preheat Grill Surfaces
Place Sandwich on Grill Surface
Close Lid so it Sits Flat
Light Indicates Sandwich is Done
Wait until cool for simple clean up; wipe with a dry or damp cloth

I used to have one of these, and they do make really good sandwiches. I love mine hot or cold though, it depends what you put in them. These would be great for making Cuban Sandwiches. Excellent lens, now I am hungry! Blessed.

I have the Cuisinart griddler 5-in-1 and I love it. I haven't eaten a cold sandwich since I got it!

I've not got a grill like this anymore but now I'm certainly tempted to get another. The one we had died a few years ago and we never replaced it. I forgot all hte goodies you could make with it.

I don't have this exact model, but something similar which I love. Looks like they have some great new features!
