Cultural and language differences add spice to our lives--sometimes just visiting the neighbors across the street is a new cultural and linguistic adventure! Sometimes, however, folks want to go to the extreme and travel to a foreign country that has a drastically different culture and language.

If you can't do that, you can always watch the movies presented here--they all deal with how folks deal with language and cultural barriers. Although sometimes this interaction will be funny, it can also sometimes be dangerous. That's why watching the movies provides such a good experience--you can see all this interaction from the comfort of your home and learn the tricks of what to do and what not to do before you get out there and experience it in person!

    Well, we recently experienced the language barrier pretty heavily in Southern Spain. But then again, got the language barrier in Prague when I wanted Spaetzle and got BIG dumplings instead.
