Your culture - Part of who you are
Whether we are "American", "French", "Canadian", "Irish", "Brazilian" etc. whatever our national citizenship shows, our cultural origin may not reflect the "melting pot" ideology. Many of us are also of Native, Indigenous, or Aboriginal cultural origin.
Let's explore this, and see why it is important to know of our cultural heritage, and how to understand our origins.

Brothers from around the world
A group of Maori youth came from around the world to speak to Native American youth about hot topics, and challenge us to Stay in School, Stay clean and sober, and Stay Free from drugs, alcohol, tobacco and violence. They present an impressive program with Maori traditional dance and singing, sign language, rap, skits, and hip-hop.I saw them early in their tour of the US, Canada and Hawaii.
