This page grew from my own hunt to find the perfect cupcake boxes for the cupcakes I had been creating. I have spent literally hours scouring the internet to find the perfect cupcake boxes for every occasion.

Easter Cupcakes
Cupcakes are a perfect treat for Easter and make a great gift for classmates or for an Easter picnic. There are endless variations: green grass, Easter bunnies, small eggs- the great thing about these is that you can make them as simple or elaborate as you like.One popular option is to turn the cupcake into an Easter basket as pictured here. You can do this with any form of long sweet or licorice, and then top the cupcake with your choice of Easter topping.
These look great on a cupcake stand sprinkled with green sprinkles to represent grass..
The BEST buttercream icing/frosting recipe EVER
This recipe gives thick, fluffy buttercream icing that looks fantastic on cupcakes and gives them a really professional look. It is great for piping out of an icing bag. I adapted it from a recipe from Wilton. Their recipe used a lot of vegetable shortening, which I substituted for butter because I preferred the taste and texture.Ingredients:
One cup of butter or butter like margarine
One teaspoon of vanilla extract (if you want perfectly white icing you should use clear vanilla extract- I never bother and just use the regular one)
4 cups of confectioners (icing) sugar, seived/sifted
2 tablespoons of milk.
Method:
You need an electric hand mixer to make this recipe.
Firstly put the butter into a bowl and cream it with your electric mixer. This takes a little time but you need it to be really soft and fluffy. The lightness of the icing comes from this stage. Once you are happy that the butter is fully creamed add the vanilla extract and give another good mix.
Then add the sugar, slowly one cup at a time. After adding each cup you should thouroughly mix it using the electric mixer until all of the sugar is mixed into the butter. Add the sugar slowly, bit by bit so that it doesn't go everywhere when you put the mixer into the bowl!
When you have added all of the sugar check that it is fully mixed in. The mixture will feel very hard and dry at this point- don't panic because once you add the milk it will be perfect!
Add the milk, one spoon at a time and mix again with the electric mixer. Keep beating the mixture until it is really light and fluffy.
You then have perfect icing!
This makes quite a bit of icing, but don't panic because you can store it in the refrigerator for two weeks. Just put it into an airtight container to store. When you get it out it can feel a little hard at first so put it into a bowl and whip stored icing again before using. If necessary you can add a little more milk to bring back a softer texture.
Perfect frosting!

Similarly, some have inserts and sections that flip so that you can carry brownies, biscuits or other treats on a different layer.

I have this cupcake carrier and it is fantastic! You can snap it together so that you can use either one or two layers. The part that holds the cupcakes is removable and has handles so you can carry it around as a tray and offer your cupcakes around. You can also flip this insert - the other side is flat, perfect for sandwiches, brownies or anything else that you want to carry.

- Original, I didn't know there was specially made boxes for these. When I bake cookies or cupcakes, I usually put them in tin boxes (recycled chocolate boxes and such).
