In this lens, we are all about finding a cure for morning sickness. After all, it's one of the most frequently complained about symptoms of pregnancy. Mention it in a group full of women and most will moan in recognition.
Morning sickness during pregnancy is a common prenatal symptom, affecting as many as 90 percent of pregnant women. Symptoms of morning sickness include queasy feelings, nausea and vomiting. It can be terribly annoying, but more importantly it can restrict the nutrients that your baby needs during the term of pregnancy due to a loss of appetite.

No-one really knows why it occurs. This can make effective morning sickness treatment difficult. That is why a herbal treatment to cure for morning sickness has become so popular in recent years. It treats the body holistically, so even if the primary and secondary factors are unknown, all bases are covered. The right herbs stop nausea, increase immunity and rectify hormonal imbalances.That being said, in most cases, women can control the seriousness and minimize the effects of morning sickness. Take for example,one common food group which affects morning sickness in a bad way are foods that are spicy, greasy, or fried. These three types of food will give you a topsy-turvy stomach as it works up the acid, so just stay away from spicy, greasy or fried. It's only 9 months!
Another factor which affects morning sickness is the current lifestyle of most women. Nowadays, women are more inclined to work even when they are pregnant. With the added stress of work to an already stressed out body, you shouldn't expect yourself to not suffer from morning sickness!

What are some remedies for curing morning sickness?
Here a few natural remedies
I have found that for the most part, these vitamins and herbs have helped me out. All of my other friends who have consumed them as a cure for morning sickness also say it helps out with that sickly feeling.Vitamin C. Fruits and vegetables are most rich with it. Vitamins C helps you to absorb iron and helps keep away the cold.
Vitamin B6. I happen to be in the category of women who take B6 and find it a cure for morning sickness. Although not much is known on why it helps, it doesn't hurt to try it out!
Ginger. Ginger is well-known for its nausea reducing qualities, and many women have had success with ginger tea for relieving their morning sickness.
Peppermint. Lately, I have been drinking peppermint tea and I find that it helps a lot. Personally, I feel more relaxed and so does my stomach! That being said, if you don't hate peppermint candy or tea, it is definitely one soothing cure for morning sickness.
What can you do to cure morning sickness
Eat well, Rest well and Relax well!
While there are numerous ways to cure morning sickness, here are a few simple but effective steps you can take everyday:1.Eat small meals during the day. This allows your stomach to take fully digest and efficiently breakdown the food into nutrients.
2.Eating onions helps ease constriction of bronchial tubes i.e. helps you breathe better. Similarly, putting onions on the chest does help reduce those respiratory ailments such as shortness of breath and wheezing as well as helping us breathe better.
3. Although it's obvious, eating well is important when you're pregnant and your doctor should be consulted if you find your vitamins are intolerable. There are cases whereby certain pregnancy medication and pre-natal vitamins are found to be causing morning sickness. That aside, having some carbs during the day would help a lot as your body is in overdrive mode and needs a lot of energy to go on.
4. Have as many naps as you need during the day. Not only is this one of those times where you can sleep the whole day without feeling guilty about the house chores, napping helps your body to recharge and makes you feel stronger during the times you are awake.
5. Keep yourself hydrated but do it in moderation. While it is a good idea to drink a lot of water, make sure you do it in small amounts and spreaded throughout the day. Gulping down a whole day's worth of water will cause some ruckus in your stomach!
These are but a few pointers I have gotten while reading Morning Sickness Freedom. It's a good book for us pregnant women because it's written by a pregnant woman who doesn't have morning sickness simply because she cured it herself!
