Now that I have been free of my panic attacks for the last 8 months, I think it is amazing at just how many people believe they must "cope" with their panic attacks. Many people believe that panic attacks are simply a necessary part of their lives and that they must learn to live with them.

This is not the case. Most times curing panic attacks takes a lot less effort than coping with them (at least it did for me).

1. Educate Yourself

The first thing you must do is educate yourself on the science of panic attacks. You see, most people spend their efforts on trying to find the REASONS to why they are having panic attacks. While this is somewhat effective, it still does not address the real reason.

Look at the science of panic attacks. Educate yourself on what exactly HAPPENS to your body and mind leading up to, during, and after your attacks. Rather than figure out the reasons, observe the different states your body moves through.

2. Apply Principles

This is the second step for curing panic attacks. After you have learned about the science behind panic attacks, you need to apply certain methods which will re-enforce your normal states.

There are various methods which you can use to reverse your state changes which lead to panic attacks. This has to do with changing your brain activity from the midbrain back to the forebrain. This may sound like this will be hard to learn, but it actually is not as long as you keep the concepts basic. Curing panic attacks was not that hard for me once I learned how to stop the state changes and re-enforce the normal ones.
