Why I like "Mr. Perfect" Curt Henning

"There's only one Mr. Perfect...". Curt Henning said that on many occasions and it was true. No one could've been Mr. Perfect except him. Curt Henning was a natural athlete and a joy to see in the ring.

Granted a lot of the matches I saw him in he played the bad guy or the "heel" but love him or hate him you had to give the man credit he could wrestle. I think that is why he pulled the gimmick off so well. It is easy to see him with a cocky attitude because he just is that good. He could be a credible threat to anyone and not many wrestlers could be described like that.

I first got a real good look when the Genius (Lanny Poffo) because his manager and skits were done of Mr. Perfect proving not only was he a master in wrestling but other sports as well. One of the best if you can find it is a "Hail Mary" football pass he throws and then catches himself.

Curt had people always by his side weather it was a managerin the WWF/WWE like the Coach, Bobby "The Brain" Hennan or the Genius, or just his life long friend Rick Rude in WCW. This always confused me because Curt didn't need anyone else. Still he got the job done every time.

Now Curt Henning is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. It couldn't happen to a more deserving wrestler. I just hope his friend Rick Rude gets inducted with him.
