Curtis Stone - Celebrity Chef & TV Personality
Curtis Stone is an Australian Chef and former Host of the TLC reality cooking show "Take Home Chef" on the Food Network.
His latest cookbook, "Relaxed Cooking with Curtis Stone: Recipes to Put You in My Favorite Mood" was released in April 2009. The New Kindle Edition was released on October 20, 2010.
Curtis was in the USA and Canada last year promoting his new cookbook and cookware in major department stores. Unfortunately, my daughter and I lucked out (as we had to work) and missed his book signing in Vancouver, BC.
Curtis Stone starred on a season of "The Celebrity Apprentice" in 2010. He is currently a panelist and investor in the New TV Series, "America's Next Great Restaurant" on NBC.

Curtis Stone was in the USA and Canada in June 2009 promoting his new cookware "Kitchen Solutions" and his new cookbook "Relaxed Cooking with Curtis Stone: Recipes to Put You in My Favorite Mood.
His new line of "Kitchen Solutions" cookware include chopping boards, prep tools, bakeware, serving ware and personalized Curtisware.

History of "Take Home Chef" - Reality Show on TLC Network
"Take Home Chef", was a popular cooking reality show starring sexy Curtis Stone, as the chef and host. Curtis would meet a pretty woman in a supermarket while being followed around by a film crew. He would ask them whom they were cooking dinner for that evening and would offer to invite himself to their home to create a lavish chef dinner for them and their guest(s). Fresh ingredients and sex appeal were the popular ingredients for the success of this entertaining cooking show. Unfortunately, the show is no longer being broadcast on TLC.

TART INGREDIENTS:
7 ounces unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 vanilla beans, split lengthwise
4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and cut into halves
2 cinnamon sticks, broken in half
2 7-inch-diameter discs puff pastry, rolled to ¼-inch/3 mm thickness
CARMEL SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
1 cup sugar
1 cup whipping cream
