I bought a hula hoop kit to give myself another fun opportunity to be active but when I took it out of the box to try and use it I was a big flop. I immediately assumed it was because of my weight and not my skill.

Once I got over myself I went looking online for other plus size hoopers and found a treasure trove of inspiring women who love to hula hoop and who have a little more on their bones than the women in the exercise videos that make it look so easy.

What follows are some of my favorite plus size hoopstress's in action. I hope you find them as inspiring as I do.
