- I have tears in my eyes from watching the Video. It is so true that good service, or anything like that has nothing to do with education level, or training....it comes with compassion, caring about people, or from the Heart as the Video says.
I also really liked what you said about an emotional land mind at work. That's why I am my own boss nowdays, just got tired of walking on egg shells all the time. 5'd and fav'd.

- More people need to learn the value of Customer Service. It's something that I feel is completely overlooked these days. When you have friendly customer service agents who actually work to resolve the issues of their trade it's better for everyone. Great lens. They should hand this out in a packet for anyone who is considering their own business.
Worst Customer Service goes to Wal-Mart! Sorry, I had to throw that in there...ha ha

- An enjoyable read - I have been fortunate to experience some excellent care from hospital staff when my elderly mother was in the hospital before her death. This makes me feel grateful for them all over again!

- Can't wait to share this, Kate! So on target!....But fortunately, I see good customer service at our hospital- everywhere at every level. A brand new volunteer today commented, "Everyone is so friendly, so helpful. Even someone in scrubs stopped and offered to help me as I was learning my way around! I know they have more important things to do, but oh, that was nice!" We continue daily to strive to "make it better" and I don't know where it really all begins. I do know, however, that it makes a difference - a big difference - to patients, their families, friends, and to all visitors. A warm smile, a compassionate holding of someone's hand, walking a parent to the Emergency Room, whatever it takes - makes a difference to all within the very stressful hospital environment. And as you pointed out, good customer service to each other is critical, and perhaps that is really where it begins. Thank you for this excellent lens!
