Customize Your Zazzle Product

Our Garden Lady Chairlady must first find the product she wants to customize. At "FLOWER DESIGNS BY SUSAN" this is very easy.

1. Go to the HOME page and choose a flower category, in this case the Rose Section and click on the button.

2. Then she choosed her favorite rose design from over 2 dozen rose designs available and clikcs on the design.

3. She can now choose her product. At "FLOWER DESIGNS BY SUSAN" all the apparel is on the first 2 pages and the nonapparel on the last pages.

4. She clicks on the Sticker and is ready to start to customize it for her garden club.

You can easily make the design bigger or smaller depending on your needs by using the magnifying glass icons (plus makes the image bigger and minus makes it smaller). TIP: Holding down the SHIFT key while using the Plus or Minus keys, will make it larger in bigger increments; holding down the CTRL key while using Plus and Minus changes the size in tiny increments.

You can also change the placement of the image left or right, up or down by using the arrows. TIP: If you use the CTRL key while clicking on the ARROW, the image will move in very small increments. If you press the SHIFT key, the image will move in larger increments.

Adding text is probably one of the most popular ways to customize your purchase. You can design your own invitations, make promotional items for your store, make stickers or buttons for your next show or exhibit. And it is very easy to do. Find the Add Text button at the top right and click on it.

A text dialog box will open where you can add you message. TIP: If you want each line of text to be a different size, color, font, etc, use a different dialog box for each line.

As you can see, the words are in the wrong place and the wrong size. Notice that the text layer has been labeled "Annual Rose Show May 24, 2009" so that you know which layer you are working on.

First, our Rose Club Chairlady will move the text up to the correct position by using the arrow buttons

Although the words are in the correct position, they look too big. Also, our chairlady thought it would look prettier if the words wore a different color.

TIP: If you do each line of text individually, you can choose a different size, color and/or font for each line.

As you might remember, our Rose Show chairman wanted 65 stickers. Howerver, when whe pressed the quantity button, the only choices were 50 to 100. Not to worry, the quantity can be changed after adding to the cart to the exact quantity she needs and she still has her bulk pricing.
