How To Use the Designer
Text, Graphics - or Both
To use the built in designer just follow the steps below:-
1 - In the right hand pane choose your item, size and quantity from our huge range of products - use the scroll bar to see the full range.
2 - Click on the color you want in the left hand pane and which part of the item you want to print on - you can have more than one!
3 - To use a graphic, select the 'Design' Tab and choose from our design library or upload your own - Click Here for instructions, then position it where you want.
4 - If you want to add Text, select the 'Text' tab, choose your font,color and size then position that in the same way as the graphic.
5 - When you are happy with the design, check the color, size and quantity are correct.
6 - Click on 'Purchase Now'

How To Prepare and Upload a Design
1 - Make sure your design is saved as a .jpg, .gif, .png or .bmp with a resolution of 120 dpi for Clothing and Mouse Mats and a print area no larger than 1500 pixels x 1500 pixels- for Mugs, Coasters etc your design should be 400 dpi. For small items please check the print area individually.
2 - Choose your product.
3 - Click on the design tab in 'designer interface', and then click on 'Upload Design' complete the copyright declaration and upload your design.
4 - Position your design, check color, size and quantity are correct.
5 - Click on 'Purchase Now'.
Flex Print or Flock Print
Flex is Sleek and Shiny - Flock is Soft and Velvety
Flock Print- High durability
- no color-fading in the laundry
- Fluffy, velvet like surface
Flock retains its colors long throughout a life of regular washing at 40°C.
Flex Print
- High durability
- No color-fading in the laundry
- Smooth, even surface of the print
- Must be ironed inside out, do not iron directly on the print
Flex retains its colors long throughout a life of regular washing at 40°C. As with all printed fabrics, please wash and iron inside-out.
Specialty Flex Print
Specialty Flex can only be used in 1 color designs and cannot be overlapped with other designs. If a basic flex and specialty flex are selected for the same design, the design will default to the specialty flex or the basic flex.

Specialty Flex print can ONLY be used on 100% Cotton Fabrics.
Flex compared to Flock
Both techniques have the same high standards in regard to quality, that is, maximum durability and no color fading. The only difference is the look and feel of the material. While Flex is very smooth, Flock is a little bit fluffy.
Print Technique
A large computerized blade is used to cut designs out of a smooth, thin material. This design is then pressed onto the fabric, using high pressure and temperatures. Flock and Flex Print are suitable for almost all fabric types. Whether you want soft and velvety Flock or sleek and shiny Flex, they both look and feel amazing.
Digital Printing
The Pro's and Con's
Digital printing produces a smooth print surface on the fabric. The ink does not leak into the garment and cannot be felt on the inside of the material. When using your own design if you select white items, the digital image will have a transparent background. If you select colored items, there are 2 possible ways we can produce your design, with or without the background. If the background is white or if you put "R(color)" in the bottom right of your image file, we will trim this color away. The R stands for Remove and you put the color that you want removed in the parenthesis. Make sure that the design you wish to have cut out has a distinguished contour and that the smallest parts are at least .06 inches in size. Otherwise, the image will not be cut out and the background will be printed.
Advantages

Disadvantages
Some designs work best on only light colors
Printed colors may fade over time unlike Flock or Flex print
Color content is not changeable
Durability
All digital prints, especially with darker colors, are prone to some fading over time. Careful washing will mean your design lasts well.
