Take a Look at Blujay - or Not!
Online auctions take a lot of time on the part of the seller and buyer and if you are paying fees to list and the item doesn't sell there are only a couple options. Sell the item in your next yard sale or pay relisting fees to see if the item sells the second time.
I prefer marketplaces to auctions for many reasons to numerous to mention. The obvious is time.
Many sellers that were "powersellers" on Ebay for years have been forced to find other venues for their products due to increased fees and narrow profit margins.
For those of you that simply want to get rid of your children's outgrown clothing an alternative to pricing, sorting, running a local ad and sitting in the garage an entire day is the free marketplace.
Blujay.com is one of two sites that I find particularly easy to use. The community discussion board is friendly and helpful to "newbies" and the site promotes their sellers with the ability to track via RSS and Google feeds.
To research other possibilities go to http://www.powersellersunite.com and read the forum on the many options available for free to sellers. Here too you will find many knowledgeable and helpful people to answer your questions.
After the "troll problem" at Blujay continues and Admin. there does nothing I am prompted to edit my suggestion when there are other alternatives.
Simply read the discussion boards, forums and members comments before selecting a free marketplace before investing of your time and energies building a store at any free venue.
