This wonderful animated short won an academy award for best animated short in 2002. Look Closely to find: In the beginning bar scene Darth Vader and Yoda are arm wrestling. E.T. is escaping in a bicycle basket. Someone has a Princess Lei hairdo. A Jar Jar Binks lookalike? Then if you can, notice that the robots are from famous sci fi movies: Gort from The Day the Earth Stood Still, Robbie from Forbidden Planet and the robot from Lost in Space. Newt (For Release in 2011)
Newt and Brooke live in a community college science lab and don't care for each other, yet as the last remaining blue-footed newts on the planet they are forced to mate to save the species. Rydstrom explained "Newt is smart but he's never had to think for himself and is pampered. Brooke on the other hand is streetwise and not to be messed with."
The Bear and the Bow (Pixar's first fairy tale) is an upcoming computer-animated 3-D film being produced by Pixar Animation Studios and starring the voices of Reese Witherspoon, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson and Julie Walters as the witch. Also appearing in the film are a 15-foot tall bear and Merida's younger brothers (who are triplets). It will be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, and is scheduled for release around Christmas 2011.
Premise: In mythical Scotland, Merida, a member of the royal family, decides to give up her family name for her dream of becoming an archer. Burn-E A new Wall-E / Pixar short to be released Nov 2008 on Blu-ray Disc. The short film will be based on a character who was briefly seen when EVE and WALL-E fly around the Axiom Starliner, and enter through a door locking a welder robot outside of the ship. Coming June 2008 is a story from Disney and Pixar about the last robot on Earth. Directed by Andrew Stanton, whose previous film was Finding Nemo, this looks to be very exciting.
It's a love story, but more. Wall-E stands for Waste Allocation Load Lifter - Earth-class made by and is sold by the Buy n Large Corporation. He is a robot programmed to help clean up. It takes place in 2057, and Wall-E has evolved over time. He feels. And he falls in love with another robot named Eve. She is a robo probe that arrives on Earth. But she has no feelings.

- DreamWorks' beloved (and lucrative) green ogre harkens back to the silver screen for a tertiary installment in the highly anticipated Shrek the Third, which reunites the cast members from the first two episodes: Mike Myers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, Cameron Diaz as Princess Fiona, Antonio Banderas as Puss 'n' Boots, Julie Andrews as Queen Lillian, Rupert Everett as Prince Charming, and John Cleese as King Harold. Also joining the ensemble are a panorama of new guests, including pop phenom Justin Timberlake as Fiona's wayward cousin Artie, Eric Idle as Merlin, and Amy Sedaris as Cinderella. The premise takes up where Shrek 2 left off; although Shrek and Fiona were married in part two, they never intended to inherit the throne of Far, Far Away. Fiona's father, King Harold develops a fatal illness, so Shrek, Donkey, and Puss 'n' Boots set out on a quest to find Artie -- the proper heir, who has rejected kingship -- and turn him from a snotty, rebellious punk into a grateful prince. Meanwhile, Prince Charming, Fiona's jilted bridegroom, gathers up a parade of history's most famous fairy-tale nasties, including Captain Hook and others, and incites them to storm the castle and seize the throne by force. But Fiona and her mother, Lillian, have a trick up their sleeve: an army of fairy-tale heroes and heroines, including Lancelot, Snow White, and Cinderella, who will fight the invading onslaught.
