I found this good article about how keeping your kids with simple and practical hairstyles still keeps them looking as cute as ever. Complex hairstyles simply aren't practical because kids love to run around and play causing their hair to become undone. Short hairstyles are the best for boys, such as the crew cut and comb down, and medium hair length cuts are best for girls.

Young kids are not concerned about how they look to other people, the only things on their mind are playing and having fun. Why make things more difficult to maintain and why keep children from playing as they wish over a hairstyle? There simply is no need for it.
