Hi, I'm Cyndi and I own Cynderelli Rubber Stamps and Crafts. I've crafted my whole life. I've dabbled in a little of this and a little of that because I never could settle with just one craft. I love to sew, stamp, cross stitch, embroider, bead.....

What about you? What do you like to do? Talk to me!

Finding Retired Rubber Stamps

It's a sad fact of life in the stamping world that stamp companies will discontinue certain stamps or even entire stamp lines. Maybe sales weren't what they expected, or maybe they need more room in their catalogs for their new lines.

Whatever the reason, the stamp you were eyeing, or maybe the stamp you saw in a friend's collection, may not be available any more from the stamp company. What do you do then?

Fortunately, you do have a chance at getting that must have stamp. eBay has a great new and used rubber stamp market, and many retired stamps will show up there in either new or used condition. I carry a wide variety of new and used stamps in my store: Cynderelli Rubber Stamps and Crafts. You can also find stamps from companies that are no longer in business, like PSX (Personal Stamp Exchange).

Another resource for those discontinued stamps or stamps from companies no longer in existence is individual web stores. I have been adding a large number of stamps from the late Stampa Barbara to my web store: Cynderelli Rubber Stamps and Crafts. I also have some recently discontinued stamps from Uptown Design and Stampers Anonymous.

So don't despair if that stamp you are craving is out of production. Check around, and you may find it yet!

Whatcha workin' on now?

I'd love to hear about your crafting adventures. Are you stamping? Scrapbooking? Cross stitching? Whatever your crafting hobby, I want to hear how it's going!

Are you having a problem with a project? Looking for ideas? Let's get together and share!

Earn Money Back on Purchases!!

Walmart, Target, eBay, and more!

OK, so this is shameless promotion, sort of. I found out about a new site where you can earn money back on purchases that you make, and purchases people you refer make. It really does work! The site is called Big Crumbs, and you can earn a percentage of purchase price (or in the case of eBay, a percentage of the fees that eBay charges). Pretty cool, huh? Please use this link to sign up, and then send your friends your own link, so you can get them as your referrals (especially if you have any big spender friends!)

On a different note, I've actually taken some time this week to work on a craft project of my own, so I didn't get as much listed on Cynderelli Rubber Stamps and Crafts as I should have. I have been working on a stamped cross stitch project that will be turned into a hand quilted wall hanging when it is done. It's one of those projects that is going to take some serious time!

I will be listing some handcrafted lighthouse lamps that my father-in-law made to my eBay store this week. I only have one listed so far. I have 9 more to get up. They are really beautiful, so make sure to check them out. Cynderelli on eBay  He also made some 'redneck flashlights' and 'redneck mailboxes'. These make fun gag gifts for your friends or co-workers, or stocking stuffers for your significant other! They're kinda cute, and again, handcrafted from solid wood.

See ya around!

Sewing Patterns, and more patterns...

After spending what feels like forever listing rubber stamps to Cynderelli Rubber Stamps and Crafts, I changed it up a bit and have been listing sewing patterns. McCall's, Simplicity, Vogue, Butterick, and a few off name types. Now it feels like I've been working on those forever!

What is really incredible is that I still have nearly 1000 patterns stacked up to list, and over 1500 stamps that I need to get added. On top of all that, I have cross stitch and plastic canvas patterns, kits, and odds and ends! My head is spinning!

On top of all of that, I've been looking into getting more accounts with companies whose products I'd like to carry. I have a dozen companies I've been accepted with now, but until you folks start spending your hard earned money on my stuff, I'll just have to add the merchandise slowly.

About Cynderelli

Hi, I'm Cyndi. I've always loved crafts, and when life turned on me,
I had to find a way to make money. Fortunately, I'm able to use my love
of crafts to help pay bills and help other crafters find the supplies
they need!

Now if I only could find the time to do some crafts myself again....

 Please
sign my guestbook and tell me about what you are doing. Maybe I'll find
some inspiration to start one of the many projects I have laying around!
