The Cynster Series of Historical Novels are set in London. The Cynsters are, of course, notorious Rakes until they find the woman they want for life.

Devil, Scandal, Vane, Gabriel, Demon & Lucifer are known as the Bar Cynster.

Stephanie Laurens has truly breathed life into these guys. While they're everything rakish heroes should be, they aren't perfect.

Each Cynster novel focuses on one member of the family. Cynsters do tend to handle a crisis en masse so it gets interesting when they're all together.

The plots are as well developed as the characters. The love scenes do not stop at the bedroom door, so those who prefer 'sweeter' romances will probably want to avoid these romance novels.

Later Cynster novels feature the twin sisters (Amanda and Amelia share many of their brothers' and uncles' Cynster traits)and some of the younger siblings.

It isn't necessary to read the novels in any particular order. Each stands on its own.
