Celebrating 50 years, Cypress is a city located near the northern border of Orange County, California, USA. It was originally named Dairy City, but was changed as the land was developed for housing. Though it is considered to be a suburb of Long Beach, Cypress has many resident industries. As of May 2005 estimates, the city had a total population of 48,863.
