The Cypriot Village of Cyprus
Ranked #11,757 in Holidays & Celebrations, #202,702 overall
A fantastic way to enjoy your life - you have to try it.
Travelling from one village to the next in Cyprus, what was so unexpected and which took us by surprise was just how many people welcomed us into their houses as we were just passing by. People who did not know us and there we were sitting down eating and drinking with them, trying to understand the language. This welcoming hospitality surprised us so much and, above all, the Cypriots' very friendly nature, which also shows in their children at a very young age. Even though there is a language barrier, we have just started trying to learn some Greek.
Thank you Cyprus

We did it, so can you
Like us, you may fall in love with this lovely island and decide to have a house constructed. From our experience, we made a few trips all over the island and found where we wanted to live, so we had good information from the locals where we needed to start. The village where we stay is 15 minutes from the sea, heading inland up the Troodos mountain range. There are plenty of plots for sale and they are a lot cheaper than on the coast. In every village there is a head person called the Muktar, he is the offical officer for the Government for that village.

Relocation to Cyprus
Make your dreams come true
Many EU residents after enjoying holidays in Cyprus have chosen to relocate permanently to live in a country with low taxes.
The sunshine, its infrastructure, political stability, economic framework and legal structure make it a sound environment to live in and a great investment at the same time.
The sun has a wonderful effect on the lifestyle which is revealed in many ways, especially through the diet and characteristics of the Cypriots. Dining in Cyprus is a very sociable affair and often takes place on the terrace or veranda at home or in one of the thousands of restaurants. The locals will always make you welcome and ensure there is plenty of food and drink for you to share - so why not come and join us. Dreams do come true but you have to start somewhere. I hope this webpage gives you some insight to live in Cyprus. If you are still not sure please contact us for more information.
Food Glorious Food
Needless to say, food has to be at the top of the list. Cyprus has so much sea produce, it is guaranteed you will not be disappointed. You will be faced with so many options, you won't know what to chose. Go for the Meze - a meze is a meal comprising of dish after dish of tasty seafood specialities and this lets you try a great amount of new cuisine. If you do not like fish, have a meat meze but expect between 15 - 25 dishes. Enjoy!
Please let us know if Cyprus would appeal to you
