A Generic Role Play System

The D12 Gaming system is a success-based table top role playing game, this means that any dice rolled are used to generate successes, but this is explained in better detail later on. This gaming system is designed to be inherently generic so that it can be quickly and easily modified to any gaming style and genre. The gaming system uses one type of die, a twelve sided-die, also referred to as a D12 (hence the name of the game). This allows the gaming system to quickly move from one subject matter to another without any difficult learning curve or arguments over die types for different sub-systems.
The D12 Gaming system was designed as a success based RPG because scaling the complicated and numerous rolls in a role playing game can become tedious and slow down the game session. When you have to constantly reference which type of dice you should grab for things can become slowed and the speed of the game can really lose momentum. When there's only one type of die you need to grab for, there's at least one aspect of table top RPGs that you can avoid; something any experienced gamer can relate to. Sometimes the math seems to means more than the play.
We will be opening the floor to fan submissions and players who would like to offer their views and opinions on the system. This will allow fans to contribute to further expansions to the D12 system and take part in the evolution of its ability to be adapted to any gaming world and situation.

Licensing the D12 System
The D12 Gaming system can be licensed to be used in your own RPG publications. This means that not only can you use it to make your own games at home; you can actually buy a license that will allow you to produce and publish your own D12-based RPG game books.
We don't control the type of game you want to make or the content you put in it. You can use D12 for any type of game you want to make and with the way it's designed, it can be used for just about any type of game.
To add to our affordable licensing programs, we even advertise your game for you. Part of the licensing agreement is that you have to submit a digital copy of your D12 product to us for our records. This allows us to do the following:
·We can read over the work and determine whether or not we will advertise it with our other D12 books and with the D12 System books as they are produced. This advertising is free, so what's to lose?
· As more and more people buy D12 licenses, we will develop an inventory of
games produced by other people and companies. Through this we can tell
you if anyone has made a similar game to yours and point you in their
direction. Part of the licensing agreement is that in the initial phases, you
have to submit your game concept to us. We only use this to search our
records to see if another license holder is also making, or has made a game
like yours. Looking at both of these methods helps to prevent fraud and
allows you to look at the existing D12 books to see if your idea is new and
fresh, in case you want to make adjustments, or even contact the game
producer for information or collaborations.
· Keeping a copy of your book on hand will help you with possible copyright
issues that may or may not arise in time. We will have tracked when we
received your digital copy which can help you to establish a completion
date and proof of ownership.
As we develop new D12 System books we will make them available for a reduced cost to existing license holders. We will even contact license holders to inform them of product updates or modifications to the existing books. If they have purchased a license of it, we will forward them the changes or a new copy of the files altogether. This helps to keep you up to date and ensures you will never run into a system conflict and you won't have to sift through errata to correct possible system problems.
We have two primary licenses available and the details are as follows. If you find that your needs are not met by these publishing options, please feel free to contact us at pcs@demoninc.org or Skype us to reach an actual person at pcs_books. Be prepared to submit financial information and other documentation to help your haggling.
