Meditation: a daily task 

Meditation helps you for two purposes:

1. to enter into communication with the Divinity or your superior being, especially to receive energy and advice; and
2. to relax from the daily stress.

It is therefore important to practice meditation on a daily basis, best under constant circumstances like: location, time, environmental conditions (music, silence).

There are so many different types of practicing meditation and a lot of "schools" have developed their own procedures. You can learn and practice it with Yoga, Tai Chi, Chi Gong or just with any other system. It's just a question of personal preference.
