Knocking on Heaven's Door: How Physics and Scientific Thinking Illuminate the Universe and the Modern World
Amazon Price: $10.87 (as of 05/30/2012)![]()
In the same way that I think there is a dearth of money awareness and education (see my fav book from the summer), there is also a general unawareness of science and scientific thinking in the general media and populace. Books like Randall's help combat that. She is so smart and interesting! Love her stuff.

How to Speak Money: The Language and Knowledge You Need Now
Amazon Price: $14.14 (as of 05/30/2012)![]()
I think it's so important that people educate themselves about their finances and how money works. I'm not a fan of "get rich quick" schemes at all - but not all money books are like that. This one seems to take a practical approach to understanding money.

I can't say enough good things about Bill Moyers. He is smart, thoughtful and level-headed. His interviews are wonderful. You can actually read the first chapter of his book, his interview with Jon Stewart, to get a sense of him. Amazing journalist.

- We watch John Stewart regularly. Oh, my gosh is he ever funny. But, I love your lens site because he has some absolutely fascinating characters and authors on that we see and tend to forget about. Love how you have arranged everything by year. I am just getting acquainted with this site so it is terrific to see what an array of topics there is to view. I clicked on Jon Stewart without hesitation.
