I'm just learning to paint and found you through searching for paintings of San Diego. Fabulous stuff to aspire to. I would like to enter a drawing if you're still giving away paintings. I live in Albuquerque, and we travel extensively, so I'm familiar with many of the locations you've painted. Beautiful depictions. Glad I found you.

Judith, Thank you! I just received "RAIN IN THE VALLEY". My husband keeps on saying, "Holy cow, you won that?" The colors are amazing. You do beautiful work.

What a nice lens, except for that poor drowning radish... How about a wee life preserver for it?

    Just kidding about the radish...

Your work is beautiful, but what else that is beautiful is your generousity. You share your thoughts about the paintings. How-when-where-why. I like having more than 'tree by brook'. You give away paintings. You give advice. You give free lessons in your website. What a sweet person you are!

I just yesterday received my very first D'Agostino painting. Thank you Judith. I'm beside myself with joy. The colors are even more vibrant and the strokework is even more soft than it appeared here on your lens. It's just beautiful! You are a truly talented woman. God bless you.

    THANK YOU JUDITH!!!
I was delighted to see that I had won the painting give-away. I have been telling everyone and their brother about it. I love the complement of the various blues in the sky with the golden tones in the foreground. I'm anxious to see the stroke work and colors up close! THX! Jan

    Hi Judith,
Your paintings are just wonderful. Field of Gold and Contemplation #1 are favorites. Although very different, both seem to have a special quality of light. On Contemplation #3, perhaps a hint of life in the grass below palm on right-- a picnic cloth, birds, vivid wildflowers?

I am the person that won Judith's painting for August. I received it today! I love her ability to show such depth with shading. And how did she come up with so many greens! I feel so privileged to own one of her paintings.

What a wonderful novel idea. Love the idea of the free painting. Makes you want to come back to your lens daily just to see your updates. Great demo and music too. My favorite painting posted is A Place for Contemplation. Good selection of helpful links as well.

Wonderful Judith! You make it look so easy. Great palette choice. Was that the local color? I would like to see the finished painting for a few seconds longer at the end of the clip.
