Are You Building Niche Websites Yet?
It's a great internet marketing strategy if you are looking for something you can put some work into up front and it will continue to work for you in the long run.
The idea of niche websites is based on finding good keywords, and building small sites around those keywords. These sites have good quality content to attract our good friend Google who will happily send you traffic to your site.
Once your niche site is up you can monetize in any number of ways to make a little (or a lot) of money.
So what is a niche?
The first step in this strategy is finding a good niche.What's a niche you ask? Good question!
A niche is any topic or area that people are interested in.
Yes it really is that simple. Anything you or anyone else is interested in is a niche.

How do I find daily niches?

This is where you will have to dig a little deeper to find a good niche and some keywords that will work for your mini sites.This is what I love the most. Finding niches.
Some people shy away from this part of the process, but to me it's like a treasure hunt!!
Here are some ideas for coming up with niche ideas.
--> Look around your area, write down everything you see. EVERYTHING!
Now I add to it, put each of the basic words you find in the Google adwords keyword tool and see what you get.
--> Look around you everywhere you go. Take paper with you and write down everything you come across for a whole day.
Then put each main topic in the Google keyword tool and see what comes up.
--> Go to ebay pulse and look through categories there.
Put main categories in the Google keyword tool and see what comes up.
--> Go to website directories and look at the categories they have.
Put those categories in the Google keyword tool and see what comes up.
--> Go to Amazon, check out their categories, check out the topics of books.
Put them all in the Google keyword tool and see what comes up!
--> Get daily niches sent to you! Yes you can get niches sent to you daily for free. These niches will probably NOT be great to go with right away, but they can give you great ideas to dig down on.
The more you let yourself go, and think outside the box the more money making ideas and possibilities you will come up with.

Characteristics of a Good Niche
how do I know I found a good niche?
This can be the most complicated part of the niche finding process.You want to find a good mix of enough daily searches and competition, but not too much.
Here are my suggestions.
Make sure whatever keyword you choose has at least 50 searches a day. I often times try to stick to more than 100.
If you are doing squidoo or hubpages I try to stick to less than 30,000 competing pages.
(you find this out by putting your keyword in google with "qoutes around it". That shows you just who is optimizing for that keyword as well)
If you are going to build a whole minisite, keep your competition below 100,000 pages.
Now when you go through, don't get discouraged. It is possible to find these great keywords. They are NOT all taken. Using a tool like Micro Niche Finder will help you drill down to find those niches that are often overlooked or many have yet to find. So there will be some good search traffic and not a lot of competition. Check out the video above to see what I mean.
It just takes some practice, some patients and a little ingenuity and creative thinking to find them.

Once you get started building your niche sites ~ you will get addicted, because they are fun and they will make you money!That's when you will start looking for daily niches! Good question, niches won't do you any good sitting in your computer.

That's what I like about niche marketing, you can do lots and lots of different niches. No need to stick to one thing. Get your sites up, do the marketing and then let them go! I have focus issues too. ;)
