About Dale Midkiff

It was back in 1988, when I first became aware of this talented actor.  He was in the movie, "Elvis and Me."  Very impressed with his acting ability.  And, he's pretty darn cute.

Since then he has had several movies to his credit.  I have provided a list of all of them.

If you are a fan of his.  And have been searching for his movies.  This site will help you locate those hard to find films.

I hope you will enjoy learning more about a very fine actor.

Thank you for visiting.

What can you expect here? It's all about Dale!

Three reasons to love Dale Midkiff

Here are my three reasons to love Dale Midkiff. If you are a fan of his, like I am.
I am quite sure you have your own reasons to love him.

First reason: Is his portrayal as Clark Davis in the "LOVE COMES SOFTLY," series. Written by Janette Oke.
Here's a little about the movie:
A young woman's dream to forge a new life for herself on the great American plains becomes a test of her pioneering spirit, her inner strength, and her undying faith and courage. By covered wagon, Marty (and Aaron Calridge have come west in search of fortune and a new life. But an unexpected tragedy leaves Marty a widow facing bleak prospects for the future. With a bitter winter season approaching and no safe passage back home, she finds herself stranded yet befriended by settlers Ben Graham and his wife Sarah.

Second reason: He was amazing in, "A CRY for HELP: THE TRACEY THURMAN STORY."
Based on a true story, written by Brian W Martz.
Tracy Thurman was married to a man, (Buck Thurman) who abused her. But he continues to harass her after she gets a restraining order, and the police do little to help. When he brutally beats her and slashes her throat in front of police, she sues the city and the police department for failing to protect her.
This is why I believe Dale Midkiff is an excellent actor. He makes you totally hate him in this movie.

Third reason: "ELVIS and ME," written by Priscilla Presley and Sandra Harmon.
The story of Priscillia's life with rock and roll star Elvis Presley. It is believed to be the movie that launched Dale's career.

Pet Sematary Special Collectors Edition DVD

Pet Sematary Special Collectors Edition DVD A doctor dabbles in magical resurrection with horrific consequences in this supernatural thriller adapted from the novel by Stephen King. When Dr. Louis Creed (Dale Midkiff) and his family move from Chicago to an old farmhouse in rural Maine, their only concern is the busy highway that flanks their new home. Louis family -- wife Rachel (Denise Crosby), daughter Ellie (Blaze Berdahl), and toddler Gage (Miko Hughes) -- soon meet kindly old duffer Jud Crandall (Fred Gwynne), who introduces them all to the local attractions, including a pet cemetary built on the remains of a Native American burial ground. When Rachel and the kids head off to visit Louis in-laws, Ellies cat gets flattened by a truck. Jud counsels Louis to bury it in the old Indian portion of the cemetary the next day, it returns from the dead, carrying with it the stink of the earth and a decidedly bad attitude. Shortly thereafter, Louis is tempted to use the cemetarys magical powers again when his son suffers a tragic accident. A snarling kitty, it turns out, is nothing compared to the horror of a little boy with no soul and a taste for scalpels. In addition to adapting his own novel for the screen, writer King appeared in a brief cameo as the minister presiding over Gages funeral. Director Mary Lambert would return with Pet Sematary Two. Love Comes Softly DVD

Love Comes Softly DVD

Love Comes Softly DVD In the family-entertainment tradition of his multi-talented father Michael Landon, writerdirector Michael Landon Jr. offered this made-for-cable frontier drama, adapted from a novel by Janet Oke. En route to her new home in the West, Marty Claridge (Katherine Heigl) suddenly finds herself a widow, with no roof over her head or means to support herself. At the gentle prodding of her settler friends Ben and Sarah Graham (Corbin Bernsen, Theresa Russell), Marty accepts the marriage proposal of taciturn widower Clark Davis (Dale Midkiff). It is strictly a business arrangement, with no romance or cohabitation involved Marty will act as housekeeper to Davis and as teacher and surrogate mother for Clarks sullen nine-year-old daughter Missy (Skye McCole Bartusiak), and in return she will receive food and lodging. Pragmatists both, Marty and Clark assume that they will dissolve their marriage of convenience when the spring thaw comes...but that isnt how things turn out. Love Comes Softly first aired April 13, 2003, on the Hallmark Channel. Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
