Head On Out For Dallas Blooms!!

Hooray for flowers!! It's time again for the Dallas Blooms festival at the Dallas Arboretum. The 2012 theme is "It's a Work of Art" highlighting the incredible beauty of the arboretum throughout the festival. The 2012 festival will feature glass artist Dale Chihuly's glass pieces throughout the gardens.

The March 2011 edition of Southern Living Magazine named Dallas Blooms a "world-class tulip show" as well as "best spot this side of Holland to see beautiful flowers."

See ya' there!!

Running from March 5 through April 10, the 2012 festival is a fun-filled five-week, six-weekend event.

Ohhh, you're giving me spring fever! We still have snow on the ground here in Ohio. A couple more weeks and I'll be in the garden!

Oh man, I wish I could see you there! I want to get to my sis' too in Alabama, never been there, but she tells me of all the things I could do with an essentially 4 season growing season. I's a jealous girl :) living up here in the midwest.

BTW, I've got a slow connection, but I'm a flower fanatic, so I just had to wait for the flicker shows. Please visit your new group, Flowers, Flowers, and more Flowers...and help me try to implement an amazon slide show to our lens.
