Head On Out For Dallas Blooms!!

Hooray for flowers!! It's time again for the Dallas Blooms festival at the Dallas Arboretum. The 2008 theme is The Star of Texas, and one of the best things about our great state - the incredible beauty of the arboretum - will be highlighted throughout the festival.

In addition to the usual beauty of the arboretum, there will be a giant flower-filled star and other theme-inspired topiaries that will fill the gardens. See ya' there!!

Running from March 8 through April 13, the 2008 festival is a fun-filled five-week, six-weekend event.

Enjoy The Flowers Before You Get There!

Will I See You There?

Ohhh, you're giving me spring fever! We still have snow on the ground here in Ohio. A couple more weeks and I'll be in the garden!

Oh man, I wish I could see you there! I want to get to my sis' too in Alabama, never been there, but she tells me of all the things I could do with an essentially 4 season growing season. I's a jealous girl :) living up here in the midwest.

BTW, I've got a slow connection, but I'm a flower fanatic, so I just had to wait for the flicker shows. Please visit your new group, Flowers, Flowers, and more Flowers...and help me try to implement an amazon slide show to our lens.
