Installing line voltage landscape light fixtures will require an electric junction box to be installed at where the fixture is and the wires preferrably be contained inside conduits so that it is not exposed to the elements. More work is involved when installing a line voltage lighting system, and it is less flexible, as we cannot freely move the line-voltage light fixtures. Installing them is as easy as sticking them in the ground, or mounting them wherever you need them. The draw back is that the photovoltaic charging panels that capture the sun's energy need direct sunlight during the day to charge the batteries that provide power to illuminate the light at night. Installation time depends on the size of the project. Small projects will take 1-2 days while larger projects will be 3-5 days.
