Loved the books. Can't say the same for the Tom Hanks movies. Great job on this lens.

I love Dan Brown! He's one of my favorite authors and I've read every single book. Each one gets better than the last. I love The Lost Symbol since its set in Washington, DC (my town).

I'm really surprised that Angels & Demons is getting more votes in your poll than Davinci Code. They are both good though.

I liked the books, but I can't stand Tom Hanks, so I avoided the movies...I thought the books were a lot of fun & very exciting...I love books that present a puzzle to be solved.

I totally disagree that the books 'attack' the Catholic church or Jesus' divinity, they only make us ask questions and look at the historical facts rather than the myths we have built around Christianity over the last 2000 years - such as what time of year Christ was actually born and whether the Magi visited him as a newborn or as an older child. If the Catholic Church feels so threatened it wants those questions silenced, then that raises even more mysteries. We already know that it deliberately and falsely condemned Mary Magdalen as a prostitute and had to recant. Whether the books stand up as modern literature is a different matter entirely! I like them as a good thought provoking yarn but I'm not blind to the errors they contain - these two or The Lost Symbol. Mostly a good lens, but a few irritations.

I'm not a fan of Dan Brown's writing. My partner read The Da Vinci Code and warned me off it. I thought the second film was dreadful and we couldn't get to the end! However, you have done a good job here and perhaps I'll give the movie another go.
