Have someone who knows about dancing help you judge potential members of the crew and write down contact information for each, taking notes of exceptional people. Potential members must also be willing to work just as hard as you or even more so. Keep note of individuals weaknesses and strengths as well as their history and experience. Dance Crew Name
Before you can go and start performing you need to be able to make a name for yourselves. This is a name that will stick so it should represent you, but also be catchy as you want people to repeat your name as often as possible with as little trouble as possible. A jar of names, raising of hands or just throwing out great names are ways to brainstorm for the eventual name. Although permanent, you may want to change your name if the first one doesn't fit or members change.

Are You Ready?
Even though you have a couple nice dance routines you can't stop now. Keep working on your dances to perfection. Technical dancing skills like pop and locking can always be improved. Break dancing always is evolving. New dances like "krumping" and "jerking" are the new thing in the west coast. Learn the history of dance moves and study other great dance crews looking at how original their style is. Never steal other group's moves as "beef" is sure to arise. When you come to the point where you can not do much to improve yourselves enter the big dance competitions. Some Good Competitions to apply for are "Body Rock", "FUSION" and "World of Dance".
