Michael Jackson Dangerous Tour Wembley Stadium 1992
As a a child I was asked to perform my imitations of his dance routines in order
to get posters and things that had come free in magazines and newspapers.
I was lucky enough to have quite a few records passed down to me by my uncle as birthday presents.
I spent a lot of my spare time playing through the vinyls I had and trying to imitate his dance routines and singing along hoping, like probably many other kids to be just like him one day.

Michael Jackson Cancels London Dangerous Concert
Disappointment
It was the day of the concert and such excitement as you can imagine from an 8 year child attending first ever live gig. It didn't get much bigger than this and I was totally overwhelmed by the amount of people sitting in the queue going all round the stadium and Police on horseback walking past. The buzz and anticipation was just all over the place. We even met people that happened to come from the same town as us and went to the same primary school as me. Not at the same time but they had the same headmistress which we joked about at the time.
We finally got in the stadium an amazing place packed with people. I remember seeing the support act perform a band called Kriss Kross. Can't remember much about them apart from they were scratching records and things as part of their performance. A Hip hop act I think.
Then came the moment we were all waiting for and suddenly some man appeared on stage telling us the performance was cancelled, as Michael Jackson was taken ill. At first we all thought he was joking, but then realised he was serious.
I was devastated as the day I had looked forward too for so long was cancelled. I was crushed and lots of adults around me were reduced to tears at the news.
A glum audience left the stadium to go home from the gig without even seeing the main man we had all come to see.

Unstoppable performance
Second attempt at seeing the concert after being invited back to Wembley Stadium, after the dissappointment of the first time. I don't remember much about the build up this time, but probably because this time I actually got to see the gig.I jumped out of my skin as I had no idea what to expect, when out jumped Michael Jackson from a trap door in the stage and lots of Fireworks. Probably one of the best introductions to a live gig ever. Something that will certainly stay with me for the rest of my life.
Michael Jackson then went on to perform Jam. I don't remember a lot of the gig but the main parts remembered was the superb performance of Billie Jean. The part I had been waiting for the famous hat throw into the crowd followed by the moonwalk.
I remember Heal The World and the ending "Man In the Mirror", one of my favourite Michael Jackson records to date probably part down to this gig and the memories I have of it. Michael then flew over the crowd in some jetpack suit.
What a Truely amazing gig and certainly something Michael should be remembered for.
What a night!!! I was totally blown away by the nights gig.

- Most excellent...I've never actually seen Michael Jackson in concert but I remember we used to have quite a few of his albums. I feel so sorry for his family & also all the fans who were looking forward to seeing him go back on tour. What a bummer.
