Daniel Fishback's Impressionistic Landscape Paintings

Ranked #3,197 in Arts & Design, #44,051 overall | Donates to Squidoo Charity Fund, Athletes for a Cure

My impressionistic oil landscape paintings appear in exhibitions and shows in a variety of brick and mortar locations around the region. My landscape paintings are also on display on my personal web site and blog; online stores Etsy and Zazzle; and in following online virtual galleries: Fine Art America, Xanadu Studios, Saatchi Online, Noenga: Global Art Platform, and RedBubble.

"The majesty of mountains and the spectacular beauty of skies and trees can never be duplicated in paint or with a camera. My hope is to convey to you the sense of wonder and awe that inspires me to go out and find these scenes and to paint them."

The biggest influences on my painting style come from the Pre-Impressionist, Impressionist, and Post-Impressionist Painters. Names like Cassatt - Chase - Constable - Cézanne - Degas - Delacroix - Lautrec - Manet - Monet - Morisot - Pissarro - Renoir - Sisley - Turner - Van Gogh are some of my favorites.

Ever since I was a young boy exploring the creek by my grandmother's home in Piedmont Missouri I have been fascinated with the outdoors. I think this love of the outdoors is reflected in many of my landscape paintings. I especially love being around water. I find wading in a creek or a river to be very relaxing and most enjoyable particularly if I have my fly rod along.

My original artwork is currently on display in several online art galleries where potential buyers throughout the world can take advantage of viewing it from the comfort of their homes. You can view some of my original impressionistic landscape paintings right here on this site and click on links to other sites where more of my landscape paintings, still life paintings, abstract paintings, streetscapes, waterscapes, and figurative paintings are currently being displayed.
