Do you love dark chocolate truffles?

I love chocolate. The taste, the texture... it's all very captivating. The higher quality the chocolate is, the better. If it's dark and the rest of the ingredients are high quality, I'm a very happy person.

So, I decided to go out and look for truffles that meet my standards. These are my favorites.

My Tips for Making Chocolate Truffles

Making chocolate truffles can be quite the process. But, I've learned that it doesn't need to be difficult. Making chocolate of any kind is a wonderful thing - the way it smells, the way it melts, the way it tastes... I just love it.

The basic recipe for truffles involves butter, cream, and chocolate all melted together over a double burner.

But, don't try to wing it - especially not at first. Last time I tried to remember how to make them on my own, the truffle filling was a runny mess. Instead, follow a recipe like the one I have provided below.
