Do you sometimes read children's novels?

From the lens The Dark is Rising.

Love the Dark Is Rising series, I read them a few years back. I think that childrens books often cross into adults nowadays and these are some of the best. Excellently written with a fab story! Added to my online library! :)

I definitely read children's novels, and I love these ones. I didn't know there was a movie, though. Now I'm going to want to see it even though it's going to drive me crazy (since it's obviously so different from the book).

I love these books. We had an old paperback omnibus of all of them when we were gorwing up - unfortunately it kept losing pages off the end. I've been trying to reread it but I'm having to find new copies.

I love good childrens' novels and I love this lens. Apart from being in the Arthur group (now a lens at squidoo.com/groups/arthur) the Dark is Rising is blessed and featured on An Angels' Christmas

Oh, yes. I fell in love with these years ago, and have reread them since. And yes, I have copies waiting on my children's bookshelf, for them.

I have a son who loves these kinds of stories in particular and I'm always looking for a new series for him. This sounds perfect! Nicely written. :)

The boy in the striped pyjamas, otherwise no. However I loved the lens and the pictorials.
