Dark Organic Chocolate

If you are anything like me, dark organic chocolate is much more than one of life's lovely little pleasures - it's an essential ingredient of a great day! I look forward to my daily mid afternoon slump prevention (or busting) treat, I look forward to this healthy, tasty special treat because it gives me a little boost of energy that lets me get my end of day tasks completed and then get dinner ready.

Of all the antioxidants, dark organic chocolate is my favorite... red wine is my second favorite, but that's a whole other article! But life's to short to eat bad chocolate (or drink cheap wine) so I decided to create this article to share about my most favorite mid afternoon chocolate - Green & Black's dark organic chocolate, and to give you some interesting information about this company, their mission and their wonderful products.

Green & Black's only the finest organically grown cocoa, principally of the Trinitario variety, to create their exquisite chocolate products with the Green & Black's signature intensity. They source their crops from many places but mainly from the Dominican Republic and Belize. The cocoa is grown using sustainable and biodiverse farming methods, thereby helping to support a balanced ecosystem.
Green & Black's offers a wide variety of different chocolates. From white chocolate to milk chocolate to 85% Dark organic chocolate, they have a broad range of different tastes and flavors. Most people are very familiar with traditional Milk Chocolate, but don't be afraid to branch out. If you are unfamiliar with the darker varieties of chocolates, Green & Black's recommend starting with Milk and working your way up to our stronger, more intense flavors. The higher the intensity of the chocolate, the lower the sugar content. As always, to gain the most flavor, let the chocolate slowly melt in your mouth.
