I really enjoy reading and especially enjoy reading paranormal romance books. The last Vampire series that I read, which I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys adult romance books, would be the Dark Series. I actually discovered the popular series by accident. I was walking through the fiction section of the library and saw one of the books Carpathian Books by Christine Feehan sitting there on the shelf. It looked interesting so I decided to go ahead and read it.
The book that I picked up was called Dark Secret and it was actually book 13 in the Dark Series.
In this book I learned about a "good kind of vampire" called a Carpathian. Actually Carpathians are not vampires at all. They are simply another species who comes from the earth. They originally came form the Carpathian mountains and of course they are all Hot! Carpathians are good and only become Vampires if they don't find their life mate and they kill while feeding.

Well I was totally hooked on The Dark Series
I love the way Feehan writes. She really makes you feel a real connection with the characters.
So after reading Dark Secret I wanted to read the rest of the books in order starting with the first. So I went to try to find them. I found a few at the library and a few in stores but found that most of them were hard to find. Until I went to eBay. I actually found someone who was selling the entire series. Yippee! Who cares if they were read previously. I was just glad to get my hands on them.
