Make Dark Music
how to make music on a computer
To get started i think the easiest recording program is Sony Acid Pro. The current version cost around $300 dollars. They have a free version to demo the program. The highest it saves to is 220 kbps i believe. It's always good to try before you buy to see if you can wrap your head around a program. some are harder to learn than others. Sony Acid is about the easiest to learn so if you think it's hard you may not be cut out to make music.
Sony also has music loops to buy that you can chop up and apply effects to and loop/mix to your liking. The best way to get started is to use the loops and just mix together a song. After you MIX one song move on to making your own loops and building songs from scratch. It's how most people start making dark electronic music.
If you are a guitarist you can loop some industrial beats and record your guitar parts and mix them together. Some guitar players practice their playing buy making songs like that as they wait to form a band or for solo projects.

Finale Thoughts
the end
If you are going to make dark music there will always be an audience for it. Dark art weather it be in music or print media like poetry or paintings seems to last in time. Being good at it is hard though. You will walk the line of being corny if done wrong.
