Hi Y'all, welcome to my world. 

My name is Linda L Rucker and I wrote books. Books about the south, a place I love, a place I call home.

I've been writing professionally for over ten years now, and have two full length novels available.

My first novel, "What the Heart Wants" is a love story of a different kind. It is the story of a mother's love for her child, even though that child was lost to adoption over twenty-five years ago.

But, a mother's love never dies, although at times it can be misplaced.

"What the Heart Wants" is a story of that love and the determination of a heart that wants, "What the Heart Wants."

After WtHW, I had several short stories and articles published in various anthologies and magazines, but something kept nagging at my mind. That something was Dark Ridge, my second full length novel.

After an agonizing two years, I finally put "The End" on the last page.

Now I am busy creating new worlds from the deep south I so love.

I live in Central Florida with my husband Bobby, and our stalker Shih Tzu, Tubby and our mentally challenged cat, Alley.
