"It's better to light a candle than curse the darkness."
Does that strike a note with you? I'm betting that you're well aware of whatever "darkness" is happening in your life.
It might be that:
There's too much month left at the end of your paycheck.
You hate your job.
It's almost time to retire and you don't have a retirement plan.
You're missing all the special moments in your children's lives.
The fact is, every human being ever born has faced difficult challenges. It's what you decide to do with these challenges that determines your fate. Some live with their problems forever, stubbing their toes and cursing the darkness. Others make up their minds to find that "candle", light it, keep the flame going, and by walking in that light, create a completely different life for themselves.
That's what I want to talk with you about. Why? Because I have the match... that ignites the flame... that lights the candle... and together we can remove whatever "darkness" is in your life!
I am in the process of selecting a few people who really want to manifest true wealth in their lives... and I am going to personally mentor them.
So my question for you is this. Are you ready to light the candle? Or, are you going to keep cursing the darkness?
This is an incredible opportunity for you create true wealth - financial, mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual - in your life!
You can Have It All!
Achieving true wealth is a mountain and we are going to climb it... I look forward to seeing you at the summit!
Also, if you like what you see here, take a minute to click on the 5 stars at the top and rate this lens! I appreciate you!

How To Evaluate a Network Marketing Company
Do your homework.
Recently there has been a marked increase in the number of people desiring and building home based businesses. Many of them look at MLM and Network Marketing as the avenue to achieve what the want from their lives. Freedom to manage your own time. The opportunity to build financial independence.
Before you just go and jump into any company that first crosses your path, do your homework. Make sure it is a company and product that is a good fit with you. Let me share some things that will help you in making your decision.
With Network Marketing, you can create -
An amazing income!
An income that is higher monthly than most people earn in a year!
Friendships with people you never would have met except for this business.
Business skills that are priceless.
Communication skills that will benefit you in your personal life as well as your business.
Questions often come up about what makes up a good network marketing company and the things you want to be sure are in place.
Be sure you are educated on how to talk to your prospects about the opportunity and how to address more seasoned network marketers who may be looking at your business.
One huge advantage to network marketing is that if you work it correctly, it provides huge job security. And, if you work it right, you can build a team of thousands. And you show them how to have the same job security.
Here are some things that should be considered before you join a network marketing business.
What are the true start up costs going to be?
How are you paid?
What type of training is provided?
Can you work your business part time?
What type of monthly quotas or commitments are required?
How does the compensation plan work and what is required of me to access all pay levels?
Are the policies and procedures available to read?
Will you be able to make a difference in the lives of those you sponsor as well as your own?
How do the products compare to comparable products in the marketplace?
As you are evaluating the product line, there are some very important questions that need to be asked -
Would I buy these products if I was not also investing in the business opportunity?
Are the products priced fairly and is there room for me to make an solid profit by retailing the products? Or, is it strictly a wholesale buying club?
Who is my target customer market?
Is the product consumable?
Will the product benefits be obvious to the buyer?
How much training will I need to be able to sell these products?
How well does the company do getting products delivered in a timely way?
And, what about the residual income financial opportunity available to you - can you make money?
What type of pay plan is it? And how does that pay?
Do you understand what will be required from you to access all aspects of the pay plan?
Is it realistic for you to believe you can move to the top?
Is there compression in the pay plan?
Can you be paid on your downline from day one?
Is it a bonus or residual driven pay plan?
Are you paid on all volume from your team?
Questions to ask yourself -
Do I see this as a business in which I can succeed ?
Am I clear on what will be expected of me to be successful?
How do I feel about the products?
How do I feel about the support and training that is available?
Am I willing to accept personal responsibility for my actions and my success or failure?
Get involved with the intent to succeed! Make success a daily habit. That means taking action daily and that DOES create success. Don't take any part of the business too personally.
Have fun and make a ton of money.

Building Online Relationships To Build Your Business
People do business with people that they know and trust.
It's human nature. People do business with people that they know and trust. Building a relationship with a person online who is considering your business opportunity can be as simple as putting your best face forward on a website, social networking space or a blog.
The more a person sees that you are just like them, the more comfortable they will be.
Your goal is to make yourself known to people and then build trust. The process of building a relationship can take a long time or a short time.
The key is to get the person feeling comfortable with you.
Take a few minutes to evaluate what is working for you and what is not. Consider these ideas to add to your profile and online presence.
Introduction - About You
Have you upgraded your profile introduction lately? If you haven't revised it in the past year, chances are it is probably stale. A new introduction can often spark a fire and increase your own energy. This will show when you introduce yourself.
Consider including little blurbs about your family, beliefs, likes and dislikes. Let your personality shine through. Assert yourself in a whole new way. You can be very proactive about your business if you show how it is an integral part of your life and how it has enriched and empowered you.
What Will You Do For Your Prospects?
Most of the time, we only think of what we want to get from relationships, like a request for information, a new resource, a potential business partner or a customer for retail sales.
Changing your profile to one that shows what you are willing to GIVE to your network of potential customers and that you CARE that they succeed, often gets them to look closer.
Do you offer sample products? Do you offer a FREE newsletter? Do you offer FREE training and support that your Prospect can use?
Building relationships takes two, so let it begin with you. Approaching these relationships in a giving, caring mode is a terrific beginning.
Plant Seeds
Building relationships is the same as planting seeds. In order for the seeds to grow, they need water, food, and sunlight over time. For relationships to grow, you provide opportunities for your network to get to know you and ultimately trust you with their business. The end result will be well worth your efforts.
Keep in Touch - Show Them You Care
The simple act of keeping in touch with individuals that you've met online will make you stand out.
Very few people are consistent and follow up and check in with a person over a period of time. It is important that you have contact information in order to so this.
Successful follow up actions include sending notes or comments (they stand out), e-zines, newsletters, holiday or birthday cards, an article of interest, and invitations to an event. Pick any of these that fit your personal style and do them consistently. An Auto responder can be a great tool for some of these tasks.
By doing these simple steps you will watch your network grow as you demonstrate an interest in building the relationship.
Keep Track
Building relationships can be difficult to maintain if you do not have a method to capture and maintain contact information in a practical way. This means it has to be accessible and easy to update if changes need to be made.
Software programs such as ACT, Goldmine, and Outlook are excellent for this purpose. If you don't feel comfortable using these methods, you can use business card files, a Rolodex, a Palm Pilots, or planner systems such as Day-timer or Franklin. A landing page can collect most of the information you will need.
Pick a system that fits your work style and schedule time for communication with your contacts and maintenance of the database. This is a "nuts and bolts" step of any relationship and is an important part of building relationships over time.
Online Branding
Do you show your new Friends and Prospects what you have accomplished? Have you written any articles or e-zines? What awards have you won? What titles do you hold? Are you acknowledged in your company's newsletters? If so, post them so everyone has access to them. Credits and accomplishments build credibility and go a long way in making a person feel comfortable with your experience.
Provide the link to your personal website, if any. A personal website will give you a place to provide more information about yourself than you can on Social Networking sites or Blog sites.
Remember, you have to sell yourself first by building trust and respect before you can sell them on anything else.
So, build your relationships online to build your business.

10 Tips for Success in Your Network Marketing Business
The stuff no one mentions.
This is something no one mentions. Remember, you chose this business. In the beginning, you'll get paid very little for putting in a lot of effort. Later, you'll get paid a tremendous amount for the work you did one time. At all times, and especially in those early days, make sure you are in a business you can enjoy. Have FUN with the Product. Have FUN with the People you are going to meet. Whether they are customers or potential Team Partners, enjoy the experience. Have FUN while you step outside the box and find the joy in creating the future you desire.
2. Become a product of your product.
Know it inside and out. Become intimate with the way they perform. Develop a story to share with others on your personal use of the product. Instill confidence in your customers and potential business partners through your product knowledge and passion. Buy everything you possibly can from your own "store". Replace any competing products in your home with your own product line. People can tell by your passion for the products if you personally believe in them and would recommend them even if you did not sell them.
3. Understand the value and benefits of personal growth.
Personal growth comes in many forms. Developing a belief in yourself is the biggest challenge. Believe that you can do this business. Believe that you will be prosperous. Develop your belief in the Network Marketing Industry. Consult with your upline on steps you might take towards self development. Constructive criticism never hurts. Ask for a recommended reading list. Also, understand that there is often a growth curve in developing your income level beyond what you previously achieved. Be patient and allow the process to unfold an behold the success.
4. Take on some form of weekly accountability.
Whether it is with yourself, your sponsor or someone you can relate to, be accountable. Set your goals at the beginning of the week. Take action steps to move forward in your business. Use a chart to set the goals, and then mark off accomplished steps. At the end of the week, match up your steps with your goals. Treat yourself for all of the achievements you have met. Revisit the areas not attained and decide on some methods for improvement.
5. Beware of obstacles that you create.
These may include - Fear, Procrastination, "Busy" work. Take a look at what is driving these feelings or practices. When find yourself feeling or doing something that is counterproductive to your success, instead of brushing it off, stop and readjust your attitude or work habits. Being lighthearted can put you in a position of feeling empowered instead of disempowered. A positive attitude goes a long way in moving you towards your goals.
6. Find a mentor or two.
Your mentor can be upline, crossline, or in a completely different company. There are many great leaders in the industry who started out just like you. They are happy to share tips and ideas. Find someone who has values that match yours. Having a similar style of working the business will make a bond. Duplicate their action steps and watch what happens.
7. Write down your goals.
This means YOU! Success starts with first seeing it in your mind, then putting it on paper, then making it a reality. Start with goals that you can control such as action steps. It can be challenging to set income goals in the very beginning. Set goals that are realistic and that you can control. Accomplish those and then write down some more! Never stop having goals.
8. Commit to a schedule for working your business.
I know this can be challenging. Especially with work, family, and the many other commitments that consume your time. If you don't make time for your business, how is the business ever going to really work for you and create what you really want? It will not happen without your commitment. Be realistic. If you have only 5 hours, make the most of those 5 hours. Don't dwell on the fact that it isn't 10. Be successful and you'll be amazed at how you can find more time.
9. Tune out negative outside influences.
Just like those obstacles mentioned above, these do nothing to serve your purpose or goals. Some people are not going to be interested in your product or your business. Others are going to tell you that you are crazy for doing this. It may be the person closest to you. Decide right now if you are truly committed to your own success. Then, refuse to listen to what anyone else feels or is compelled to say or share. It is none of their business, because, this Business is yours!
10. Have belief in YOU.
YOU are the most positive asset you have in this business. You control YOU. Decide to be the type of person others are attracted to and want to be around. Decide to step outside the box and be your best. Decide that each day you will be better than the last. If you believe that it has already happened, it can happen for you. Others will notice and be drawn to you. That's the Law of Attraction!
