Darth Sidious is the powerful Sith lord who uses treachery and deception to rise to power as a Senator in the Galactic Republic. He is a master of the ways of the dark side of the Force. He first meets Anakin Skywalker when Anakin is just a young boy and senses the Force with him. Right at the time of their first meeting Darth Sidious desires to watch Anakin closely as Anakin grows up then eventually convert Anakin to be his apprentice and learn the ways of the dark side of the force.
