Darth Vader Costumes are Hot
I think Darth Vader costumes are still hot because Star Wars is still hot.
Do you remember the first time you saw a Star Wars movie? I'll never forget that experience.
I was married with four children and we went to the drive in.
We had a pickup and camper shell and the weather was beautiful, we tool the back door off the camper shell, backed into our stall and all laid on sleeping bags watching the movie.
Being a little broke, we brought our own cokes and home made popcorn with us.
That whole beginning sequence with the words scrolling as they unfolded the background of what the movie was all about was an experience in itself.
When Darth Vader came on the scene, we were spell bound, not a word was said as we tried to cope with this imposing character and his heavy breathing between those crackled voiced words.
The whole Star Wars experience was brand new to Hollywood and to us and we loved it.
When you think about it, there was nothing "normal" at all in those movies to give you any reference point so you had to understand it outside your prior experiences.
Weird animals and weird people were more common than the few human like characters. Chewie, Storm Troopers, Jedi and such.
That first Christmas the kids got all kinds of simple stuff like light sabers but nothing so sophisticated as Storm Trooper or Darth Vader costumes even existed in our imaginations.
Things have changed a lot in the past 25-30 years and now you can get costumes that are cast right from the original molds that were used for the actors and actresses in the movie.
Now, that stirs up my imagination, how about you?
If you have a really extravagant costume rental store nearby, you might have access to a great one.
If not, you might want to check out some of the great costumes online.
As Halloween draws closer, you'll have a much harder time finding the costume you want, so you should start your search as soon as you can so you have all the options available to you.
If you wait too long you risk not being able to find your character and having to settle for another option like a Storm Trooper or Chewbacca outfit.
You know you want to have the "breathing apparatus" so you can really get into the character.
It doesn't matter if you're of the opposite sex either because Darth Vader Costumes cover you up completely.

- I can't remember or count the number of times I've watched Star Wars and Return of the Jedi and I never cease to be amazed at the way Darth Vader was dreamed up. I wonder who originally thought of this whole costume. He is a character that no one ever forgets and I'm hoping my husband will dress in a costume like one of these for our party.

- Darth Vader: Prince of the Dark Side. I can wear the Darth Vader Halloween costume, I just can't sound like James Earl Jones. This is a great costume and warrants some big time attention. Keep bringing great costumes. You find 'em, I'll buy 'em.

- I am sure that Darth Vader costumes are amongst the best of all time. Darth Vader will never go out of style. As a Halloween costume it is just perfect - walk menacingly into any room, with the mask over your face, and a short silence will be created, as if an evil presence walked on a grave.
Absolutely a Halloween costume.
