The Darwin Awards were started by Wendy Northcutt. Wendy is a graduate of UC Berkeley with a degree in molecular biology, is the author of the best-selling book series, The Darwin Awards I, II and III. Started in 1993, her award-winning website, www.DarwinAwards.com, has remained one of the most popular humor pages on the web, and has been profiled in USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and Entertainment Weekly. Wendy lives in Northern California.
