The Truth About Those Data Entry Jobs
We've all seen those ads for Data Entry and Typing from Home. You know the ones I'm talking about.
- Do you have a Computer?
- Do you have Internet Access?
- Can you type?
Yes, Yes and Yes Of course you do or you wouldn't be reading this :)
Real Companies need you to type ads and post them online.
Simply fill in 4 to 5 lines of text and make money.
Sounds to good to be true, right? Well, it is and it isn't. Can you make money with this system? Yes you can, but you could also lose your shirt.
It's not a J.O.B. it's an Opportunity
First let me say this. You should NEVER pay to apply for or get a real JOB.
The majority of all Data Entry and Type from Home "jobs" are nothing more than Affiliate Marketing using Clickbank products and Google AdWords. And yep, you guessed it; those ads will cost you money. How much money? Well that depends on how much each click costs you, how many clicks you get daily, and whether or not your clicks are converting, meaning how many sales you get for those clicks.

I did say you had to pay for those ads, didn't I? Just suppose that you bid .05 ¢ per click and 10 people a day click your ad. That would cost you .50 ¢ a day. Now that doesn't sound too bad. But what if none of those people buy the product. And what if you get more than 100 clicks per day and no one buys? What if you bid too much on your clicks? See where I'm going with this? If you don't have a real good grasp of keywords and AdWords, you could end up spending a lot more than you're making.

Is it a Scam, or isn't it?
Not necessarily. A scam by definition: to cheat, defraud or swindle, usually taking your money and giving nothing in return. These systems or programs, whatever you call them, DO give you instructions on how to make money, it just isn't as easy as the 1. 2. 3. they make it sound like.
It IS possible to make money with these types of systems, but most seasoned affiliate marketers will tell you it's a minefield. You have to do your research and really know what you're doing to be successful at it.

Don't Give Up
Making money online takes work, research, persistence and dedication. Do your homework, read, read and read some more. Join a marketing forum, ask questions, there really are a few honest people left out there that are willing to help and give advice.

- Great Lens - I especially like the section on is it a scam or not - so many people think these are scams but reality is you are paying for the training and it is up to you to put what they teac you into action - just like buying a textbook at school, or a how to book from a book store.
